A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Anime Series Release Date, Characters And More
The release date and a fresh trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of the Korean Webcomic A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special were made public on the anime’s official website.
The opening theme song for the trailer, GET BACK by FLOW, is featured.
On October 7, 2023, Tokyo MX and other channels in Japan will start airing the anime A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special. The series will be mirrored on Crunchyroll when it airs in Japan. Also disclosed was a fresh key image.
Besides it was also revealed that Asami Seto will join the cast of the series to lend voice to Azest Kingscrown.

Azest is portrayed as a character with strength and composure, and their magical abilities are truly impressive. Arvo Animation is producing A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special as an anime. The anime is being directed by Taishi Kawaguchi, and Takamitsu Kuono is in charge of the plot and writing development. Hiromi Kato is in charge of character design, and Kenta Higashioji is in charge of the anime’s music.
On March 25, 2023, at this year’s AnimeJapan, the webcomic’s anime adaptation was revealed.
Wookjakga’s A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special is a webcomic that started serializing in 2018. It is based on an online novel written by Yoo So-Nan that he began disseminating in 2016.
The webcomic’s narrative is credited to Yoo So-Nan as well.
The manhwa currently has released 236 chapters (5 seasons). The chapters are available on Kakaopage (Korean), Tapas (English) and Tappytoon (English). Yen Press is also releasing the series in English.
