“I’m A Kay/o Main Right Now, And Raze Too”: Says Actor Ben Affleck During Valorant Champions
The recent grand finale of Valorant Championship 2023 hosted at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California, grabbed a lot of performance from the players as well as the celebrities who turned up at the event. The list included A-listers like Hollywood superstar Ben Affleck and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.
More so, apart from seeing the celebrities at the event, what surprised everyone was Ben Affleck revealing that he was an avid Valorant player. But it didn’t end there, the Batman actor went on to reveal his mains as well.
SpaceX founder Elon Musk was also seen at the Valorant Championship 2023. The former chairman of Tesla was seen attending the Valorant Championship event with one of his kids.
At the Valorant Championship 2023 event Afflect was seen clicking pictures with Valorant’s voice cast, including Carolina Ravassa (Raze), Gabe Kunda (KAY/O), Miranda O’Hare (Skye), and Shannon Williams (Jett). During a chat with Williams, he told her how Jett is getting nerfed, and this is making her less effective as a duelist agent.

Apart from attending the event, Affleck was spotted roaming around the halls of the KIA Forum. He was exploring the sectioned-off portion of the venue along with the Riot Games staff. He even visited the media room where the staff showed him how the VCT works behind the scenes.
FaZe Clan pro player Andrej “babybay” Francisty recorded the actor when he was purchasing Champions 2023 merch. The actor renowned for roles in movies like Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Argo, Gone Girl, and his portrayal of Batman in the DC cinematic universe’s Justice League film is an avid Valorant player himself.
Who does Ben Affleck main?
A reporter asked Affleck about which Valorant agent he plays the most in the game. To this he replied saying that currently he is maining KAY/O, who is an initiator agent.
He said, “I’m a Kay/o main right now. And Raze too, I think… I’m a little promiscuous with who I main, you know what I mean? I move around a little bit.”
Although KAY/O and Raze are two distinct agents, they share some similarities. KAY/O is an initiator, while Raze is a duelist. It is understandable why Affleck likes them both. Both the agents have grenades that can possibly force enemies out, irrespective of their best positions and a decent amount of area denial. KAY/O can flash a throw in an arc similar to that of Raze.
11,500 people attended the Valorant Championship 2023 event at the KIA Forum, which was completely sold out. Over 1.3 million people watched the game simultaneously online. Finally, after defeating Paper Rex 3-1 in the best-of-five Champions championship final, Evil Geniuses were crowned champions.
Paper Rex had defeated Evil Geniuses 2-1 in the top final rematch, but Evil Geniuses was able to come back stronger. In the lower final bracket on Friday, the champions defeated the team from fellow VALORANT Champions Tour America and the defending world champions LOUD. After that, they were given the opportunity to play the VCT Pacific champions again.
