Free Fire Unban In India July 2023: Is the game Coming Back As FF Max?
Ever since BGMI returned to the Indian gaming scene after a ban of almost 10 months, fans are anticipating a Free Fire unban. There is a possibility of an official Free Fire MAX re-release. On February 14, 2022, the government of India banned 54 Chinese applications including India’s most favorite battle royale titles. However, Battlegrounds Mobile India made a comeback recently, leaving the Garena fans hopeful of a return of their favorite game Free Fire as well.
The good news for fans is that the co-founder of Chemin Esports, Diptanshu Saini, has confirmed the possibility of Free Fire unban in India. He said that the game is set to return to India with an official re-release of the MAX version of the game.
Although developer Garena is yet to make any official statement regarding the game’s unban since February 22, 2022, Diptanshu Saini’s Instagram post has re-ignited the rumors of the game’s return.
Chemin Esports’ Diptanshu Saini shared an image of their FFPL 2021 trophy on Instagram with a caption expressing his happiness as “the wait is finally over.” He further reportedly said that it will make its return to India with the launch of the MAX version of Free Fire.
It is also worth noting that the MAX version was removed only from the App Store. It was never removed from the Play Store post its ban in India. Additionally, Garena has not hosted any other official tournament in India since the game’s ban.
There were several national and international tournaments organized by Garena offering huge prize pools to the participants and the winning teams in the past in India. The Free Fire game had formerly announced four official tournaments in 2022 before the game got officially banned in the country.
If at all the game makes its comeback with the official re-release of the MAX version, the game will surely give the Indian esports scene and the audience the much-needed push it needs to reach the next level. Similarly, the game will also get back its popularity in the country in no time. Fans can also expect different third-party hosts to also start cashing in on the tournaments.
Whether the Free Fire title returns to India or re-releases as the MAX version of the game, the return will definitely make the fans of the Battle Royale Free Fire happy and over the moon..
