What is required to make a cactus in Minecraft?
You will need the following materials to make cactus iIn Minecraft:
- 6 Chests
- 6 Hoppers
- 1 Water Bucket
- 8 Cobblestones
- 4 Sand
- 4 Cactuses
- 78 Glass
- 4 Nether Brick Walls
How to build a Cactus Farm in Minecraft?
1. Place Glass to build a box
Firstly, you need to place glass blocks on top of each other to build a box that is 8 blocks in length, 7 blocks in width, and 3 blocks high.
2. Dig out one of the sides
Secondly, dig out a hole next to the side that is 8 blocks wide. Continue digging until the hole is 6 blocks wide.
3. Place Chests
Next, place 6 chests and then 6 hoppers above the chests by clicking the “shift” button to place the hoppers above the chests.
4. Add Water
Go to the opposite side and add water to the inside of the structure using the water bucket. Remember that the water “current” must flow toward the hoppers.
5. Place Cobblestone above the Water
Once you fill the water, place cobblestone above the water. This can be difficult so begin by placing 2 cobblestone blocks against the glass. Once done, break the cobblestone block which is located closest to the glass. This you will see one cobblestone floating over the water.
In all there must be 4 cobblestone blocks still in place after your done. This means place 8 blocks and break 4 of them.
6. Place Sand and Cactus on the Cobblestone
Next you must place a block of sand and a cactus on top of each of the four cobblestones.
7. Place a Nether Brick Wall
Once done, place a block in such a way that the nether brick wall is above and between each of the sets of cactus. To do this start by placing the nether brick wall above the cactus and then one in front. Then you will have to break the nether brick wall on top of the cactus.
Thus the nether brick wall will float above each of the cactus. In all, there must be 2 nether brick walls when you are done. This means you must place 4 nether brick walls and then break 2 of the nether brick walls.
8. Done! Your Cactus Farm Is Ready!
