Fortnite Update v26.10 Patch Notes Review, Analysis And Impression
Fortnite just received its first major update (v26.10) for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 on 12th September 2023. The update brought with it massive improvements, bug fixes, and exciting changes to the popular battle royale game. Fortnite Update 26.10 Patch Notes also introduced new content and features, thanks to developers Epic Games teaming up with the anime series ‘My Hero Academia.’ Now, players get to enjoy brand new items inspired by the collaboration like weapons, skins, and emotes. Here’s all you need to know about this new patch notes update.
Ice Wall Defence
Want an easier way to freeze your foes? Get all the power you need to summon glacial shields in an instant with Todoroki’s Ice Wall item. The Ice Wall will be a huge help to players as it has a massive Health pool that will help them and their team from danger. The wall is immensely difficult to melt as it won’t disappear unless it’s completely destroyed. Due to its durability, players will need to choose where they place it carefully.
The Ice Wall defence may be powerful, however, it’s incredibly helpful as an offensive weapon. If you find yourself in a fight, drop an ice wall in the middle and watch all your enemies get knocked back. This gives them icy feet and they will slide and slip around. This new item will be available to players until the Season’s end. In order to get the Ice Wall, you can find them in the All Might Supply Drops, Ground, Regular, and Rare Chests.
One For All Returns
Deku’s Smash is back and if you’re unaware of this powerful ability, then you’re in for a treat. The Deku’s Smash can send your enemies flying far away from one mighty smash. Obtain the legendary Deku’s Smash, players will need to open an All Might Supply Drop. This ability will be available until the next update.
My Hero Academia Quests
Now you can easily level up by finishing six My Hero Academia quests. Gain more XPs by completing Deku’s Quests and Todoroki’s Quests.
Become a Hero
Don’t miss the chance to rank in first place in the Hero Academy. The new update gives players a chance to fight for the top spot as three of the U. A’s best heroes-in-training will land in Fortnite. The Item Shop will now have all three of the outfits.
- Shoto Todoroki
- Eijiro Kirishima
- Mina Ashido
Pizza Party is Back
Pizza Party boxes with delicious and cheesy pizzas inside are being delivered all across the land of Fortnite by Piper Pace. The eight slices in the box are enough for players to share with their team or scarf them down. These pizza slices have the ability to restore Health and Shield at the same time. However, now players will get a little less Health and even more Shield. The Shield capacity is 100. To get this item, players can pick it up from the ground, looted from Chests, or buy it from Piper Pace.
Big Bug Fixes
- The Beautiful ‘Bow Emoticon has returned to owners’ Lockers.
- Spending Bars when Rerolling Reality Augments will now help progress the Quests for the Caper and Alias Outfits.
- Swapping weapons while interacting with a Vault Display Case will not cause the display case to become impossible to interact with.
- Progress goals for the Survivor Medal will no longer get jammed at 9/10.
- PC players will also stop auto-running when alt-tabbing out of Fortnite.
- Android devices will no longer have reversed Gyro controls.
