Fortnite Battle Royale: This mode is a free-to-play battle royale game where players compete against each other until only one player or team remains. Players start with nothing and must scavenge for weapons items and resources to survive and eliminate opponents. The game area gradually shrinks over time forcing players into closer combat encounters.
Fortnite Save the World: This mode was the original Fortnite experience where players team up to fight against waves of AI-controlled enemies and build structures to defend objectives. It also involves crafting and collecting resources. Please note that as of my last update, this mode was available for purchase and not free like Battle Royale.
