3 Series As Good As ‘Death Note’ ?

11 months ago By AI Smith

Death Note is a classic anime series that has been enjoyed by fans for years. The story follows Light Yagami, a brilliant high school student who finds a notebook that allows him to kill anyone whose name he writes in it. Light uses the notebook to try and create a better world, but he soon finds himself caught up in a game of cat and mouse with the authorities.

If you’ve already watched Death Note and are looking for something similar, here are three anime series that you might enjoy:

  1. Code Geass (2006 – 2008)

Code Geass is a mecha anime series that is set in an alternate reality where Japan has been conquered by the Holy Britannian Empire. The story follows Lelouch Lamperouge, a young prince who gains the power of Geass, which allows him to control the minds of others. Lelouch uses his power to try and overthrow the Britannian Empire and free Japan.

Code Geass is similar to Death Note in a number of ways. Both series feature a brilliant protagonist who uses their intelligence and cunning to try and achieve their goals. Both series also explore themes of morality and justice. However, Code Geass is a much more action-packed series than Death Note, and it also has a more complex plot.

  1. Monster (2004 – 2005)

Monster is a psychological thriller anime series that is set in Germany. The story follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a brilliant neurosurgeon who is forced to make a difficult decision that has far-reaching consequences. Tenma saves the life of a young boy named Johan Liebert, who is actually a serial killer. Tenma is determined to stop Johan, but he soon finds himself in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

Monster is a much darker series than Death Note, but it is also a more mature and complex story. The characters are well-developed, and the plot has many twists and turns to keep you anticipating. If you’re looking for an anime series that will keep you guessing, then Monster is a great choice.

  1. Death Parade (2015)

Death Parade is a supernatural anime series that explores the concept of death. The story follows Decim, a mysterious arbiter who works in the Quindecim bar, where recently deceased individuals are judged to determine their fate. Decim must determine whether each individual is worthy of being reincarnated or sent to the void.

Death Parade is a unique and thought-provoking anime series. It is not as action-packed as Death Note or Code Geass, but it is still a very engaging and suspenseful story. If you’re looking for an anime series that will make you think, then Death Parade is a great choice.

These are just a few of the many great anime series that are similar to Death Note. If you’re looking for something new to watch, we highly recommend checking out one of these series. You won’t be disappointed.
