In fact the animated film adaptation of Nintendo video-game franchise received the biggest opening weekend of any animated film ever, overpowering the previous record holder, Disney’s “Frozen II.”
“Super Mario Bros.,” featured Chris Pratt as the voice of Mario and Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach. The film has attracted several international audience too and earned more than five hundred and thirty million dollars internationally.
The game was introduced by Nintendo in the United States of Americe around 40 years ago. Over the years the Mario game was adapted on the big screen only once in 1993. The precedent movie was a bizarre live-action movie which had dinosaurs forcibly evolve and reptilian costumes that wer way too outré for children’s movies today. It was a flop and managed to earn less than the nearly forty-eight million dollars as compared to its production costs.
