If you ever thought the Assassin’s Creed saga needed a break. You were sorely mistaken, at least according to Ubisoft. However, the company’s plans are quite ambitious.
As Insider Gaming points out, Ubisoft is currently preparing 11 Assassin’s Creed titles. Two of them will be released this year, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a game that involves a return to the origins, and Assassin’s Creed Nexus, a work focused on virtual reality that will land in the final months of 2023. There is also one for mobile phones that is possible that arrives throughout these months, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. However, there are many more that you probably did not know.

To begin with, Codename Red is the highly anticipated title set in Japan and with the RPG elements seen to date. While Hexe will seek to offer an experience close to witchcraft. Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus is multiplayer that will be included within Infinite. Codename Nebula is developed by Ubisoft Sofia, a studio that in the past has been responsible for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and Rogue. In this work, we would visit three different locations: India, the Mediterranean and the Aztec Empire.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Raid wants to offer a cooperative proposal for 4 players focused on PvE, and its managers would be Ubisoft Chengdu. Codename Echoes will use Ubisoft Scalar (cloud technology), and it will be made possible by Ubisoft Annecy, the same people who helped with the multiplayer aspect of Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed. Finally, Assassin’s Creed Nexus 2 is being discussed internally, possibly the French company will give it the green light if the first instalment meets sales.
The parallelism of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag with Skull & Bones
Whenever a Skull & Bones gameplay or trailer was shown, players were reminded of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag due to its pirate component. The development of the game is being hell, and Kotaku points out that Ubisoft is trying to polish the game before the arrival of the closed beta at the end of August on PC. What is known about its production is that workers are forced to go to the office and cannot do their work from home.
Employees would also be offered breakfast and dinner, which also implies that they would be working a few extra hours. Likewise, from within Ubisoft, the possibility of turning the Skull & Bones proposal around and betting on cooperative exploration and melee combat has been discussed.
